Meet the owner and lead bookworm
Reading has always been my favorite thing to do. I can think back to times I would rush home after school to do my homework quickly just so I could finish my book. I remember reading by flashlight under the covers at night. I can even remember the strong maple syrup smell of the school Library in the mornings before classes. I read some of the most amazing stories in that Library. My love for reading beautiful stories has always been a major part of my life. When i had my son, I thought about his little library and all of those classics I wanted to make sure he had. I remember getting so excited when we finally put his bookshelves up! He had to have the classics and favorites and I made sure of that. Then I remember reading to him when he was just a few days old, thinking to myself, I really hope that someday he loves books just as much as I do. I realized a year later as I watched him get excited over a new book, that he probably loved books more than I did at his age. I cannot tell you how happy that made my heart! I think it was at that very moment that I knew I wanted to start something where little book lovers like him could have something that would help to keep that spark and love for reading, and help it to continue to grow. Now, here we are a year later with Mighty Kids Book Club. I am so excited and happy to share this with you and your little ones. I wanted to create a book club and subscription box that not only gave you pretty awesome books, which you could go to any library or book store to get, and I do hope you go to those wonderful places to explore. But, with our book boxes, my hope is that you are able to create precious memories and experiences with your kiddos to not only grow or create their love for reading but have beautiful moments to reflect on as a family.
